The length of the day–night cycle has a major impact on gameplay in V Rising, especially for vampires who must carefully navigate sunlight exposure. By adjusting day duration, you can control how long daylight lasts, how quickly nights pass, and how the overall pacing of exploration and combat feels on your server. Whether you want longer nights for more PvE activity, extended days for a tougher survival experience, or a balanced cycle tailored to your community, customizing this setting gives you full control over your world’s rhythm. This guide explains where to find the day duration options, what each value changes, and how to configure the perfect cycle for your server.
