Learn how to easily set or update your Valheim server password through the AA Game Hosting game panel in just a few steps.
Setting a Password on Your Valheim Server
Important: Your server password must be at least 6 characters long.
Shorter passwords may prevent the server from starting properly. Avoid using special characters such as ", ', or , as they can cause issues.
Steps:
Access your Game Panel
Log into your AA Game Hosting panel and select your Valheim server.
Open the Commandline Manager
Click or tap on the “Commandline Manager” icon.
Edit the Commandline
Click Active Modify/Modify on the selected commandline.
You’ll now see fields to define key settings, including:
Server Name
World Name (the saved world’s file name)
Password
Set or Update Your Password
Enter your desired password.
Make sure it is at least 6 characters long and does not include special characters.
Save and Restart
Save the commandline and restart your server for the changes to take effect.
