Fixing stuck player issues on a Hytale server starts with understanding why players get trapped in the first place, whether it’s world-generation quirks, collision bugs, plugin conflicts, or simple server lag. These moments can break immersion fast, and for server admins, they often lead to frustrated players asking for help. A clear, reliable approach to diagnosing and resolving these situations not only keeps your world running smoothly but also shows your community that you’re prepared for the unexpected. By learning the common causes, the tools available to you, and the best practices for prevention, you can turn a disruptive glitch into a quick, confident fix that keeps the adventure moving.
Fixing Stuck Players on Your Hytale Server
1. Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.
2. Navigate to the Web-Console Tab.

3. In the web console, assign the player or group the hytale.commandmacro.command.unstuck permission. For step‑by‑step instructions on managing permissions, refer to the permissions guide.

NOTE: Use LuckPerms to grant a short‑term permission when you only want the player to access the unstuck command briefly. Run the following command in‑game or through the console:
/lp user <playerName> permission settemp hytale.commandmacro.command.unstuck true 2m
This assigns the hytale.commandmacro.command.unstuck permission for 2 minutes, after which it automatically expires. For setup instructions, refer here.
4. While playing, type the following command in chat to trigger the unstuck action directly from your player:
/unstuck
This triggers the unstuck function and moves your character to a safe position, which is useful when you’re clipped into blocks, unable to move after a teleport, or trapped by terrain.
5. The player will be teleported to the top of the world, placing them on a safe, open surface above any terrain or structures.
