How to Change your Map to Astraeos on your ARK Survival Ascended Server Print

ARK: Survival Ascended continues to expand its universe with new and imaginative maps, each offering unique biomes, creatures, and challenges. One of the latest additions is Astraeos, a paid DLC expansion map released in February 2025. Astraeos transports survivors into a Greek mythology-inspired world filled with majestic ruins, custom bosses, astral creatures, and breathtaking landscapes. Switching your server to Astraeos opens up an entirely new adventure for you and your community. From exploring sprawling temples and underworld caverns to battling lightning-infused creatures, Astraeos offers a fresh survival experience unlike any other ARK map. The server map name you’ll need to configure is Astraeos_WP, and once set, your players can dive into this mythological odyssey. This guide will walk you through the essentials of changing your server’s map to Astraeos. By the end, you’ll be ready to adjust your server settings, restart with the new configuration, and begin exploring the mysteries of this expansive 264 km² landscape. Changing your Map to Abberation on your ARK Survival Ascended Server

 

 

Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.

Before making any modifications, stop the server from running by clicking the Stop button.

 

There are three methods for changing your map to Aberration.

 

Method 1. Installing via Mod Manager

 

Navigate to Mod Manager Tab. Look for the Astraeos Map and click the Install button on the side.

Switching map via Commandline Manager

Once in the Control Panel. Click the Commandline Managerand click Modify on the Modded option. 

 

 

Method 2: Using a Modded Commandline

 

Click Modify on the Modded option. This will show the options available, but importantly, the Map section. Enter 'Astraeos_WP' to use the Aberration map on your server.

 

 

Note: We support all official maps of the game for ARK: Ascended. "_WP" needs to be added at the end for the maps to work.
Please make sure to follow proper capitalization as they are case-sensitive.
