
This quickstart guide will help you jumpstart your adventure on your ARK Survival Ascended.
Setting up and managing your own ARK SA server can feel overwhelming at first, but this guide is designed to get you up and running quickly. Whether you’re hosting for friends or building a large community, we’ll walk through the essential steps to launch your server, configure settings, and ensure smooth gameplay. By the end, you’ll have a fully functional server ready for adventure, exploration, and epic dinosaur battles. This quickstart is all about simplicity giving you the core knowledge you need without drowning you in technical jargon.
Before setting up your server, you first need to switch it to ARK: Survival Ascended.
Here is our detailed guide on how to switch ARK versions
1. After switching to ARK: Survival Ascended, you will need to run a Steam Update for your server to download the latest patch of the game.

2. After updating your server, navigate to Commandline Manager.

3. On the Commandline Manager, Activate one of the 2 commandline available by click the Modify at the right part.

4. After activating a commandline, start your server.
5. To check the status of your server, navigate to Web Console Tab.

6. Once the server is online, you will see this log in your console, indicating that the server is now advertised in-game.
