This guide will help you with how to Modify Game Length in the KF2 Server
Host Killing Floor 2 with AA Game Hosting
Adjusting the game length on your Killing Floor 2 server allows you to fine‑tune the pacing of each match, whether you want short, fast‑paced sessions or longer, more challenging waves. The WebAdmin panel gives you full control over these settings, making it easy to customize your server to match your community’s playstyle. By modifying the game length options, you can determine how many waves players will face and how long each session will last. This guide walks you through where to find the setting, what each option means, and how to apply your changes through the KF2 WebAdmin interface.
Adjusting Game Length on Your KF2 Server
1. Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.
2. Before making any modifications, stop the server from running by clicking the Stop button.

3. Navigate to the Configuration Files Tab to continue.

4. Find System\KillingFloor.ini in the Configuration Files list and click Config Editor to begin editing.
5. In the Config Editor, find the Game Wave/Round Amount setting and set your preferred number of rounds.
6. Once you finish editing, press the Save button to update the configuration.
If you prefer to change the server name directly in the file instead of using the UI, click the Text Editor next to the Config Editor and make your changes there.
This ensures that any custom changes you’ve made, such as mods, custom scenarios, or other manual edits, are preserved and won’t be overwritten by the Config Editor’s preset settings.
