Three key parameters—Difficulty Offset, Max Creature Level, and Loot Scale—determine how tough the wild creatures are and how rewarding your loot drops feel.
Configuring the Difficulty Offset, Max Creature Level and Loot Scale on your ARK Survival Evolved Server
1. Login to your Game Panel.
2. Before making changes, make sure the server is stopped.
3. Navigate to Configuration Files.
4. On the Configuration Files, look for GameUserSettings.ini file and click the Config Editor.
5. Find the Difficulty Offset Option and configure it based on your preferred difficulty.
6. After you edit, click the Save button to apply the changes on your server.
